Today we speak to Patrick Delaney, Managing Director of Ovation Global DMC – an international destination management company who’s headquarters are in Dublin. Patrick talks about why meeting planners would want to come to Ireland and a little bit about the experiences what Ovation Global DMC have had arranging events in Ireland.

Cailin presents the iconic Aviva Stadium and explains how it will become known worldwide as one of Ireland’s new world class venues, capable of hosting not only fantastic sporting events, but will also have advanced facitilites for business tourism events.

Our second full interview is with Miriam Kennedy, CEO of the Dublin Convention Bureau.

We spoke to Miriam in the spectacular Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, she told us that Dublin is the youngest city in Europe (impressive, huh?) and exactly why a business visitor would want to come to Dublin, now.

Our first full interview is with Dermod Dwyer, Chairman of the Convention Centre Dublin – the amazing new convention facility scheduled to open in September of this year. The CCD will be the first carbon neutral convention centre in the world, and has already booked in 29 major events.
