This year Tourism Ireland is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with activities that ensure UK event organisers’ minds are firmly focused on the variety of business tourism opportunities that exist in Ireland, with plans that include a special St Patrick’s Day Lunch Reception at The Lanesborough in London and a promotion of Irish horse racing breaks at Cheltenham Racecourse.

With International Confex now under our belts, we’re now well and truly into the business tourism trade show season.  These exhibitions are fantastic for us, providing plenty of opportunities to reach industry buyers and extol the virtues our ‘emerald isle’ offers them.

The third Northern Ireland Business Tourism Expo got underway today, taking place in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena. Around 55 conference and corporate meeting buyers are attending the Expo, which comprises of not just a conference, but a gala dinner and familirisation trips around and out of the city, to discover what’s really great about Northern Ireland.
