Dublin a dark horse? Good value events and conferences in Ireland
A recent news release from the Post Office suggested that Dublin might be 2010’s ‘dark horse’ in regards to the costs of a city break, according to their City Costs Barometer report for the year. According to the Post Office, Dublin is one of the cities in the Eurozone where prices have fallen, and in addition to this Hotels.com have found that accommodation prices in the city have fallen by 11%.
To be frank, we’re not sure why they’re all that surprised. Dublin’s hoteliers have been offering great rates for quite a while now. This news focuses on consumer city breaks, but for business travel it’s clear that Dublin and Ireland offer fantastic value for money, isn’t it?
Maybe that’s just us, and if you’re reading this then no doubt you’ve checked out our offers site - www.irelandmeansbusiness.com - so will know the kind of great rates that Ireland’s hotels have been offering for meeting planners.
What do you think, is Ireland good value for money for business?
