Northern Ireland Business Tourism Expo
The third Northern Ireland Business Tourism Expo got underway today, taking place in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena. Around 55 conference and corporate meeting buyers are attending the Expo, which comprises of not just a conference, but a gala dinner and familirisation trips around and out of the city, to discover what’s really great about Northern Ireland. We think once the delegates have seen you can experience a conference in world class facilities, stay in top notch accommodation and see the spactacular Giant’s Causeway all in one short trip they’ll understand the draw Northern Ireland has for business tourism.
We probably haven’t talked about the impressive facilities in Northern Ireland for business and conferences enough on this blog yet. Aside from the Odyssey Arena, Belfast also has the Belfast Waterfront – established as one of the best venues in Europe – and outside of Belfast are venues such as the Lagan Valley Island Conference Centre in Lisburn.
It’s becoming common knowledge that Belfast is swiftly turning into a vibrant city, making a name for it’s restaurants, nightlife and culture. It’s clear that businesses are beginning to learn this too, as around a third of Northern Ireland’s visitors come for business.
